A helicopter crashed on Wednesday, August 19, near Mount Ololokwe in Samburu County, northern Kenya, killing seven people.
Authorities said six tourists and the pilot were on board. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.

After the accident, smoke and flames were seen in the mountain valley, while a witness described the situation at the scene.
Local residents and rescue teams immediately headed to the crash site to provide assistance.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) confirmed the incident and said it had opened an investigation to determine the circumstances and causes of the accident.
A rescue helicopter operated by Air Tropic also arrived at the scene to contribute to the relief operation.
