The Joint Police Unit in Gevgelija has filed a criminal complaint against K.K., 52, from Gevgelija, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “abuse of office.”

According to the information, from 07.11.2025 to 03.03.2026, the suspect, who worked as a professional associate at a bank branch in Gevgelija, took 4,920,000 denars and 63,350 euros on 13 occasions. The funds had been entrusted to him as part of his duties.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that he accessed customers’ denar payment accounts without authorization, causing material damage to the bank.
