Fire in Krujë/Rekindled Blaze in Zidoll Village Again Approaches Explosives Warehouses

A fire has rekindled in the village of Zidoll in Krujë, raising the alarm in the area once again.

As happened two days ago, the flames are spreading rapidly near warehouses where explosives used by the area’s quarries are stored.

The rugged terrain and steep mountainside are severely hampering intervention by ground-based firefighting vehicles, making it extremely difficult to control the fire’s perimeter.
