Kosovo/ Following Tensions at the Last Session, PDK Calls for Parliament’s Constitutive Process to Continue on August 14

The Democratic Party of Kosovo has submitted a request for the constitutive session to continue tomorrow, August 14. PDK MP Përparim Gruda said the request is aimed at ensuring respect for the Constitution.

“On behalf of the PDK, we have submitted a request to the session chair, Dehari, for the session to resume tomorrow at 11:00, as stipulated by the rules of procedure,” he said.

Gruda accused the Vetëvendosje Movement of obstructing the completion of the process to constitute Parliament.

“LVV is preventing us from carrying out our duties as MPs. On behalf of the party, I call on MP Kurti to allow Dehari to convene the session. Dehari does not have the authority to make political assessments; his role is technical—to convene and conduct the session,” Gruda said.
