Efforts to bring the fire in Lurë National Park under control are continuing simultaneously on the ground and from the air, with dozens of personnel and two helicopters involved in the operation.

The two helicopters are dropping water on the affected areas in an effort to prevent the flames from advancing through the forest.
On the ground are 13 firefighters, 7 employees of the Lurë Administrative Unit, 4 employees of the Dibër Municipality Emergency Directorate, 20 volunteers, 14 employees of the Dibër Municipality Agriculture Directorate, and 8 employees of the Dibër Regional Administration for Protected Areas.
The teams involved are focusing on containing the active fire zones and preventing the blaze from spreading to other areas of the park.
