Police forces in Saranda are continuing the operation to locate and arrest the perpetrators of the attack on Thimjo Rubati, who was shot with a firearm in the city.
Preliminary information indicates that immediately after the attack, the suspects left by motorcycle from Mitat Hoxha Street towards the city cemetery, in the neighborhood known as Baba Rexhepi. It is suspected that their trail was lost precisely in this area.

The police search is being hampered by the area’s outlying location, which extends into steep coastal terrain.
