North Macedonia’s Ministry of Interior announced that on 14 July 2026, following operational information about the whereabouts of a person wanted on a central and international arrest warrant, officers from the Skopje Police Department deprived Aleksandar Lazarov (41), from Kochani, of his liberty.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the warrant for Aleksandar Lazarov’s arrest was issued at the request of the Basic Court in Kochani, on suspicion that he committed a criminal offence provided for under Article 215, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

Following his arrest, Lazarov was taken to the Kisela Voda Police Station, where further procedures will follow, the Ministry of Interior said.
