Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, reacted after Serbian minister Snezhana Paunovic stated that, if she were in Slobodan Milosevic’s place in 1998, she would carry out ethnic cleansing in Kosovo.
In a reaction published on social network X, Konjufca said that the statement of the Serbian Government minister constitutes an open call for ethnic expulsion of Albanians from Kosovo.

According to him, such language glorifies war crimes, undermines stability in the region and does not align with European principles or the European perspective.
Konjufca assessed that silence and weak reactions are unacceptable, asking from the highest levels of European Union leadership a clear public condemnation. He requested that Serbia be reminded of its obligations and that this behavior have consequences for its membership process.
He also stressed that Kosovo continues to be committed to democracy, multi-ethnic society, reconciliation based on truth and justice, as well as European integration, adding that Serbia should follow the same path.
