The Central Labour Inspectorate has provided clarification regarding the case in Prizren, where a person lost their life after falling from the roof of a house.
According to the information published, initial data indicate that the victim did not have worker status.

“Clarification regarding the case that occurred in Prizren. Last night, at around 19:00, following notification from the Kosovo Police, the Central Labour Inspectorate (CLI) went to the scene together with the Kosovo Police. Initial data indicate that the victim was not a worker,” the statement said.
The incident occurred on private property, where roof renovation work was underway. According to the Inspectorate, the victim was not part of the work process, but the brother of the house owner.
The CLI also announced that no contractual relationship was established between the investor and the contractor, and that there was no employment relationship as defined by law.
