The Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia has carried out a series of raids in various locations, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals suspected of possessing narcotic substances.
In Skopje, on July 12, 2026, forces of the capital’s police detained A.I. (24), M.F. (28), M.K. (28), and D.A. (18), all residents of Skopje, as well as R.Gj. (20) from Gevgelija. During the search, the officers discovered quantities of marijuana and a grinder on them.

On the same day, around 7:30 p.m., officers of the NJPB Prilep carried out another operation in the “Toçilla” neighborhood of Prilep, where they arrested a 37-year-old man from this city. Marijuana was also found in his possession.
Meanwhile, in the early hours of July 13, 2026, specifically at 2:45 a.m., officers of the Kamenjan Police Unit stopped citizen B.S., 24, resident of Trebosh village, in Bogovinë village. Inspection of his “Golf” vehicle with Skopje license plates led to the discovery and confiscation of marijuana and a brown liquid.
The authorities inform that after the full documentation of the events, the relevant charges will be submitted to the judicial authorities.
