The United States carried out another series of airstrikes on Iran on Wednesday, just hours after President Donald Trump said the ceasefire between the two countries may be “over.”
News of the strikes was announced by US Central Command in a post on X.

“At the direction of the Commander in Chief, US Central Command forces have begun conducting additional strikes against Iran to further degrade their ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz,” the command wrote on X.
The statement went on to say that “the United States is holding Iran responsible for the recent unprovoked aggression against merchant vessels and civilian crews freely navigating a vital international waterway.”
