One person arrested on suspicion of threatening Minister Xhelal Sveçla

One person has been arrested on suspicion of threatening acting Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla through social media, Police have announced.

The Police’s 24-hour report states that the incident occurred on November 9, 2025.

Police said: “Prishtina 09.11.2025 – 16:56. In connection with the case, on 07.07.2026 the suspect was arrested, as he had threatened the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo through social media.”

Following the prosecutor’s decision, the suspect was sent to detention.
