The protest in Tirana was again accompanied by tensions outside the prime minister’s office. Protesters threw stones at the State Police’s water tanker, which had been positioned within the perimeter of the government building.
The incident occurred on the 13th day of the student revolt, as the rally against Prime Minister Edi Rama’s government continues.

Law enforcement kept the tanker on standby for a possible intervention if the situation escalates. It is still unclear whether the stones damaged the vehicle.
Today’s rally began at the Ministry of Education, where stones were also thrown at the building. The protesters then marched toward the prime minister’s office.
Outside the building, they set fire to the chairs that Prime Minister Rama had placed there earlier this morning as a sign of his invitation to dialogue.
There were also tensions near Parliament. Stones thrown at police officers and the Parliament building broke several windows on the first floor.
The protest is being held a day after 28-year-old Erjon Vishkulli suffered a serious eye injury from a rubber bullet. The incident has prompted widespread reactions and accusations against the police of excessive use of force.
Students and citizens continue to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, while the situation outside state institutions remains tense.
