Security expert Avni Islami has reacted following a statement by Serbian politician Vojislav Sheshel, who said that “as long as the Serbian army does not return to Kosovo, there is no bread.”
According to Islami, this stance clearly reflects how the political spectrum in Serbia views Kosovo, while at the same time calling on the country to increase its capacities in the security sector to the maximum.

He stressed that Kosovo must strengthen the Police, the KIA, and the Army, underlining that “the balance of military forces produces peace and security.”
Islami’s post:
A reaction prompted by this,
Around seven months ago, President Vučić declared that Serbia was waiting for other favorable circumstances in order to enter Kosovo with its army and occupy it.
It is significant that after this period, Vučić’s teacher and inspirer, Vojislav Shesheli, has appeared. He recently declared that “as long as the Serbian army does not return to Kosovo, there is no bread.” This anti-Albanian politician, who has continuously called for the extermination of Albanians, clearly shows what they think and plan for us. When it comes to Kosovo, the entire political spectrum in Serbia thinks the same way, with no difference between the ruling party and the opposition.
For this reason, we must strengthen ourselves to the maximum in the field of security, by boosting the Police, the KIA, and our country’s Army. It is not said in vain that the balance of military forces produces peace and security.
