After the decision by the Special Court in The Hague to once again postpone the proceedings against four former senior KLA leaders and to schedule the announcement of the verdict for September 16, PDK leader Bedri Hamza reacted.
According to him, this court has not only lost trust and strayed from its mission, but is also increasingly contributing to growing dissatisfaction among citizens in Kosovo.

In his full reaction, Hamza assessed that the continuous postponement of the deadline for the final decision in the case against the former KLA leaders shows that the Special Court in The Hague is functioning more as a political instrument than as a judicial body guided by the principles of justice.
He said that Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi continue to remain hostage to a process he described as unjust and endless. According to Hamza, the prolonged detention has now turned into an unjust punishment for them, while the Special Court, in addition to having lost trust and deviated from its mission, is also deepening citizens’ dissatisfaction in Kosovo even further.
Hamza stressed that every day of an unjust process is unacceptable and that September 16 remains a distant date for putting an end to this injustice.
