Goran Minchev, Minister of Public Administration, told “Lokalno” that it is untrue to say the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy carries no weight, adding that some opposition media have tried over the past 10 days to portray ZNAM as a loser.
He stressed that claims that the Ministry of Agriculture is not an important portfolio are false. According to Minchev, over the past seven to 10 days, part of the opposition media have spread the narrative that ZNAM emerged as the loser from this government reshuffle, but, according to him, the reality is completely different. He underlined that ZNAM is the only party that in this reshuffle has gained an additional function and has accepted responsibility for implementing its program in the Ministry of Agriculture.

Minchev also said that the ZNAM movement is taking on a positive role in the government’s second and third echelons, while talks related to this issue will continue in September.
He further said that ZNAM remains stable, loyal and delivers results in this Government. According to him, the new minister, Borche Serafimovski, who previously served as State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, will confirm this and demonstrate its capabilities to the Macedonian public, Minchev said./Telegrafi/
