“For a year in parliament, not a single request for an interpellation from opposition MPs has been accepted. I do not know whether Edi Rama has ever told you what he told Albanians in one of the world’s most important media outlets. He told Albanians in front of the whole world, shaming Albania in the international media. They too see Edi Rama in the role of a mafioso. Today he is telling you the same thing to your face, he is telling the Parliament of Albania through his actions. What is the meaning of refusing to implement a constitutional obligation? You, Mr. Speaker, have not failed only in your role today. Today you are not defending the Constitution, but protecting the prime minister from accountability. However manipulative he may be, Rama knows that he cannot come out publicly and speak about his state crimes. Rama has considered resigning, but he cannot do it, because he is not a free man. He still has debts to repay,” he said.
