Izet Mexhiti, co-chairman of VLEN and mayor of the Municipality of Čair, said that inter-Albanian cooperation should not remain merely at the level of declarations, but should become a continuous commitment through concrete projects that bring benefits to citizens.
In his speech at the conference dedicated to the common inter-Albanian agenda, he highlighted several areas that, in his view, offer the greatest scope for cooperation. Mexhiti mentioned education, culture, the economy and tourism as the main foundations on which joint initiatives should be built.

He also cited concrete examples of this cooperation, including the organization of the Albanian Fair in Skopje and the International Music Festival, which will be held in the Old Bazaar of Skopje with the participation of artists from Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia.
During his speech, he devoted special attention to young people. According to Mexhiti, they do not only represent the future, but are also an important part of the present, and therefore should have more space and responsibility in decision-making processes.
In the end, Mexhiti stressed that an agenda that serves Albanians wherever they live and opens more opportunities for future generations can only be built through trust, cooperation and shared commitment.
