A serious incident was recorded on Wednesday evening in Kavajë, where a 74-year-old man lost his life after allegedly being stabbed by his 76-year-old brother.
According to the police announcement, at around 20:30 in the village of Agonas, the two brothers were in a field gathering feed for livestock when, under circumstances that have not yet been clarified, citizen M. Rr., 76, allegedly struck his brother E. Rr., 74, with a sharp object, a knife.

After the incident, the injured man was rushed for medical assistance, but due to the wounds he sustained, he did not survive and died in hospital.
Police were able to apprehend and escort the suspected perpetrator, while further procedural actions are being carried out against him.
Under the direction of the Prosecution, the investigative team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of this incident and to document it legally.
