Two people were detained in Skopje after police found a considerable quantity of goods without the necessary documentation in a vehicle, while the driver was also found to be without a valid driver’s license.
According to the police statement, the incident occurred on 22.06.2026, at around 22:50, on “Adriatic Highway” street in Skopje, where police officers stopped a Ford vehicle with Skopje license plates, driven by M.I. (19) from Skopje.

The inspection revealed that the vehicle was transporting around 90 shipments containing various products, placed in black bags and without the relevant documentation. During the checks, it was also established that the driver did not have a category B driver’s license.
Police said that the owner of the vehicle is E.Sh. (20) from Skopje. After the inspection, both were taken to a police station and deprived of their liberty for further procedures.
A criminal complaint will be filed against M.I. for driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, based on Article 297-a, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.
