The Central Election Commission will wait at least another 48 hours before announcing the final results of the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, held on June 7.
This was confirmed to RTK by CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi, who said the institution has been informed of the decisions of the Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP), which rejected the complaints of two Democratic Party of Kosovo candidates for parliament, Qëndrim Kryeziu and Bekim Haxhiu, who had requested a full recount of the votes for PDK candidates.

“I can confirm that the CEC has been notified of the ECAP decisions regarding the two complaints submitted to this institution. Against these ECAP decisions, the parties have the right to appeal within 48 hours to the Supreme Court, therefore the CEC will wait for the decisions to take final form
According to Elezi, after the decisions take full effect, it will be assessed whether they include clear obligations for the CEC, which must then be implemented before proceeding with the announcement of the final results.
