Further details have emerged about the robbery of a bank in the Komuna e Parisit area of Tirana. Journalist Xhensila Kodra reports that the suspect entered with part of his face covered by a scarf-like garment. He held a gun to the cashier’s head and took the money.
At the door, he also pointed the gun at the bank’s security guard to stop him from moving. He then went outside and fled on a scooter towards Dinamo Stadium.

In an official statement, police said checkpoints had been set up and officers deployed to identify and apprehend the suspect.

At around 10:45, in the Komuna e Parisit area, a masked individual entered a bank and is suspected of taking an amount of money by threatening staff with an object that appeared to be a weapon.
Immediately after receiving the report, checkpoints were set up and all police units were directed to identify and apprehend the suspect.
Investigators are working to identify the suspect and fully document the case.
