After the candidate of the “Your Macedonia” coalition lost the early mayoral election in the Municipality of Brvenica, Prime Minister and OBRM-PDUKM leader Hristijan Mickoski responded in a Facebook post.
Mickoski described the race as one in which his side stood alone against everyone. He said they presented a platform and an electoral vision, while their opponents relied on “demographics, the national map and some Trojan horses to divert votes.”

He noted that their vote total rose from 3000 in the first round to 4200, an increase of 1300 votes compared with the parliamentary elections. Nevertheless, Mickoski said this was not enough for an outright victory.
Thanking the residents of Brvenica who voted for his side, Mickoski said all residents would have the government’s support, including those who did not vote for them. He added that “A Brvenica for all” is not just a vision, but also a way of working.
