The Kosovo Hospital and University Clinical Service has announced that it will proceed with the suspension of the director of Mitrovica General Hospital, Dr. Gëzim Berisha, following official confirmation that he was detained by law enforcement and justice authorities.
According to the ShSKUK announcement, the suspension will be implemented in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The institution described the allegations of domestic violence and threats as extremely serious, while reiterating its position of zero tolerance toward any form of violence.
“No one is above the law,” the announcement stated.
ShSKUK also announced that it would take measures to ensure the continuity of management and the regular functioning of Mitrovica Hospital, so that services for patients can continue without disruption.
