Gëzim Berisha, director of Mitrovica General Hospital, has been detained for 48 hours on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “domestic violence.”
The detention was ordered by the prosecutor on duty, said Kaltrina Shala, spokesperson for the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina.

Shala explained that a person identified by the initials G.B. had been detained for 48 hours in connection with the suspected offense.
According to her, the State Prosecutor is carrying out the necessary investigative actions to fully establish the circumstances of the case.
