A 38-year-old man from Manza, Durrës, has been arrested on suspicion of physically assaulting his wife, who died from her injuries. The incident took place in March 2022.
Specialists from the Investigation of Crimes Against the Person sector at the Durrës Local Police Directorate enforced the security measure “remand in custody” against F. H., a resident of Manza, police announced.

Investigators suspect that on March 18, 2022, the 38-year-old physically assaulted his wife. The woman died 10 days later as a result of her injuries.
The Durrës Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction had imposed the security measure on March 31, 2022, for the criminal offense of “Murder due to family relations.”
He was detained after being deported from Greece.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Durrës Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
