Gazmend Hoxha steps down as head of police, Fehmi Hoti appointed acting director

Gazmend Hoxha has submitted his resignation as Director General of the Kosovo Police.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti accepted his request and relieved Hoxha of his duties.

On the proposal of Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla, Kurti appointed Fehmi Hoti as acting Director General of the Kosovo Police.

The appointment was made in accordance with the legislation in force. The Government of Kosovo expressed its gratitude for Hoxha’s contribution and commitment during his term.
