Justice Minister Donika Gërvalla also expressed support for the establishment of the committee. She said she was ready to cooperate with MPs and contribute to clarifying the facts.
Gërvalla: I will respond to every request from the committee
“The establishment of this committee is an action that has my strong support as coordinator and from the office I lead. I absolutely do not want any MP to have doubts, not only about my readiness, but I also emphasized in my speech that I will be fully at your disposal to provide the requested answers and to help clarify all the facts in my possession,” Gërvalla said.
Arlinda Zekaj was killed on October 25 by her former brother-in-law, three days after she had sent a letter to the responsible institutions warning them that her life was in danger.
