Avdullah Hoti, a member of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has harshly criticized Finance Minister Hekuran Murati, holding him responsible for mismanagement and abuse of public finances.
During a session of the Assembly, Hoti questioned the way Murati is managing the state’s finances.

Addressing the minister, the LDK MP said he understands corporate finance and manages his personal budget well, including his investments, but does not know how to manage state finances.
“Minister, you know corporate finances well because you manage your personal budget very well. You make investments here and there. But you don’t know how to manage the state’s finances, and you are abusing what you have at your disposal. You only know your own personal finances, not the state’s. You are the biggest abuser the Government of Kosovo has ever had,” Hoti said.
