Sadleva Bodo, director general of prisons, has signed the order to transfer Ergys Agasi from Bradashesh Prison, where he has been held in pretrial detention since his arrest.
According to journalist Klodiana Lala, officers from the General Directorate of Prisons went to the Bradashesh detention facility, where Agasi is being held, to carry out the transfer procedures.

Agasi’s arrest
Businessman Ergys Agasi was arrested on August 26, 2026, in the Plepa area, at the entrance to the city of Durrës, after being wanted for several months.
According to SPAK, a security measure of “detention in prison” had been imposed on Agasi by a decision of the Special Court on December 15, 2025.
At the time of his arrest, Agasi was accompanied by a former police officer, Ulian Shpataraku, who was arrested in flagrante delicto on suspicion of the criminal offense of “supporting the perpetrator of a crime.”
According to SPAK, Ergys Agasi is being investigated as part of criminal proceedings registered in 2025, which are also connected to the case involving public procurement by the National Authority for Information Society (AKSHI).
He is being investigated on suspicion of unlawful competition through violence, unlawful deprivation of liberty, violating equality in public tenders, active corruption, laundering the proceeds of a criminal offense, and involvement in a structured criminal group.
