On Monday, in a message posted on his Facebook account, President of the Republic Bajram Begaj hailed the victory of Albanians in the Preshevo Valley, describing it as a victory for unity, dignity and political representation.
The head of state stressed that this result must translate into more rights for Albanians and an end to discrimination against them.

“The victory of Albanians in the Preshevo Valley is a victory for unity, dignity and political representation,” Begaj wrote.
The president focused on the steps that should follow this victory, calling for the result to bring concrete improvements in respect for rights and the guarantee of equality.
“Now this result must translate into more rights, equality and an end to discrimination. Many congratulations!” the head of state concluded his message.
