Seferi: 20 percent of voters in Preševo had voted by 2 p.m.

Albanian journalist Idro Seferi reported that by 2 p.m., around 9,200 people had voted in Preševo, representing 20 percent of eligible voters.

According to him, turnout was significantly lower than the overall rate in Serbia, but this may be explained by the fact that a large share of residents live abroad. Seferi said he did not know whether Albanians had registered at Serbian embassies as part of the Serbian diaspora.

He stressed that strong Albanian turnout is vital to securing their representation in the Serbian Parliament, since the parties joining forces is not enough on its own.
