Activist Eva Pango has been discharged from the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where she received medical treatment after being hit in the eye by a tear gas canister during the protest.
After leaving the hospital, Pango shared a message thanking the medical staff for the care they provided and stressing that the difficult experience had made her even more determined to continue her protest.

In her message, the activist clearly expressed her resolve, singing: “Albania is ours!”
“Greetings to everyone from the Trauma Hospital in Tirana. I’m leaving with the best impressions, not of what I went through—which I wouldn’t wish on anyone—but of the care I received. I sincerely wouldn’t wish this on anyone, but experiences like these should make us stronger, more determined and more motivated. And I can say with certainty that I’m leaving more motivated than when I arrived,” she said.
