During his stay in Montenegro for the Berlin Process Summit, which is being held in Budva, Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a meeting with France’s minister delegate for Europe, Benjamin Haddad.
As part of his participation in the summit, Kurti also held several meetings on its sidelines, including one with Haddad in Sveti Stefan, ahead of his planned visit to Paris for the Peace Forum in November.

In a Facebook post, the prime minister said that the partnership with France was producing concrete results and creating new opportunities for cooperation. He recalled that the meeting followed Minister Haddad’s visit to Pristina in July.
Kurti said that, following the signing of five agreements and instruments during the French minister’s visit to Kosovo, work was now focused on implementing them, with the aim of strengthening cooperation in justice, education and sport.
As one of the concrete results of this partnership, he mentioned the Assembly’s ratification this month of a €60 million loan for the infrastructure of the 2030 Mediterranean Games. The meeting also discussed political developments in the Western Balkans, while emphasizing that peace and security are closely linked to democracy, the rule of law and European integration.
The prime minister added that France’s support remains important for Kosovo’s progress toward membership in the Council of Europe and the European Union.
