Rama attacks protesting young people: An imaginary student revolution, a crowd of 1,500 people was turned into heroes, masks and black hoods at the forefront

For months, students and young people have been making demands of Prime Minister Edi Rama, while in recent days their demands have intensified through protests that have also escalated into violence.

But instead of listening to them, the head of government has chosen to attack them in various ways.

While also criticizing the media, Rama writes that at the height of the protest there were around 1,500 people, 500 of them wearing masks and hoods.

Rama claims that this segment of the protesters had nothing to do with the problems and concerns of students or Albanian families.

“From the morning news to the evening VIP shows, passing through live broadcasts filled with the pathos of an imaginary student revolution, a diverse crowd of 1,500 people was turned into heroes at its peak—people who had not the slightest thing in common with the troubles, problems, needs, pains and hopes of students or Albanian families—while the State Police was targeted with criminal shamelessness,” Rama writes.

Rama defended the actions of the police, claiming that it had fulfilled its duty and had not allowed the violence inflicted on its officers to push it away from its mission.

“Because in reality, the State Police has performed its duty, never allowing the violence it suffered to push it off the path of its democratic mission,” the prime minister writes.

🇪🇺

Here is THE SHAMEFUL PICTURE on television screens, where the “students” became the victims of savage violence and the State Police became the cruel monster that was massacring innocent young women and men hour after hour.

🇦🇱

Look at the ratio between wounded police officers and injured protesters in other democratic countries, where the flames of ANTIFA terror are burning and destroying cities across Europe:

🙏

Everywhere, there are far more injured protesters than wounded police officers, as is entirely normal.

🤮

Meanwhile, in Tirana, the balance is reversed.

Because in reality, the State Police has performed its duty, never allowing the violence it suffered to push it off the path of its democratic mission.

🤡

But the reality of Tirana has been replaced on the screens by another reality amid this wave of anti-state violence and psychological terror.

From the morning news to the evening VIP shows, passing through live broadcasts filled with the pathos of an imaginary student revolution, a diverse crowd of 1,500 people was turned into heroes at its peak—people who had not the slightest thing in common with the troubles, problems, needs, pains and hopes of students or Albanian families—while the State Police was targeted with criminal shamelessness.

👽

Those on the screens, most of whom live off corruption, staggering salaries, weekly retainers, Instagram advertising and even podcasts funded with under-the-table money—an army of pensioner robbers who declare little income but earn a fortune by mixing up a disgusting stew of hatred, vulgarity and banality day and night, while field journalists and camera operators are treated like slaves struggling to earn a living—are even more to blame for the days of terror inflicted on the people of Albania than those who blindly throw stones in acts of violence.

* I put the word students in quotation marks at the beginning because very soon you will see the faces and evidence of many of the masked heroes who terrorized the Albanian people with the ghost of 1997 and have no connection whatsoever with the university or student life.

👿

REAL STUDENTS ARE THOSE WHO WANT TO CHALLENGE POLITICS AND THE GOVERNMENT WITHOUT RAISING A HAND AGAINST PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY, BUT BY POINTING TO THE WOUNDS THAT REQUIRE HEALING THROUGH DIALOGUE AND JOINT ENGAGEMENT.
