In an interview with local media, former Serbian President Aleksandër Vučić commented on the political situation in Albania and the student protests that have continued for more than a week in Tirana, with protesters demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Vučić said that Rama had made a mistake and had tried for a long time to calm the protesters.

According to Vučić, Rama will find it difficult to win if the country goes to snap elections.
“Rama made a mistake. Edi believed for longer than I did that he could calm them with something. And he was wrong. He wasted time for nothing. If they force him to call elections, it will be difficult for him to win them. Completely irrational, because he is one of Albania’s greatest resources,” he said.
