Minister of Transport and Communications Aleksandar Nikolloski inspected the construction site of the Ohrid–Kičevo highway today.
In a post on his Facebook profile, he said that work was progressing at a very good pace and that construction of the project was entering its final phase.

“On site with the diligent workers building the Ohrid–Kičevo highway. Excellent progress! As our people say: ‘The end is in sight.’ A fast, safe and modern highway, with the longest tunnels in Macedonia, galleries and viaducts, is on the horizon. We are building Macedonia!” Deputy Prime Minister Nikolloski wrote.
The Ohrid–Kičevo highway is one of the country’s most important infrastructure investments. Once completed, it is expected to significantly improve road connectivity between the southwestern region and other areas of North Macedonia.
