The student protest in front of the Ministry of Education, which began at 2:00 p.m., is continuing into its seventh hour, while the situation has become tense, with clashes between protesters and police forces.

After regrouping on Durrës Street, the students set fire to cardboard boxes and several advertisements placed along the road, while the iute Credit office was completely burned down.
During the protest, the students also tore down the railings along the sidewalk and managed to open one of the ministry’s metal doors.
In response to the protesters’ actions, police intervened with tear gas and high-pressure water in an attempt to disperse the crowd.
Meanwhile, police forces have formed a cordon opposite the protesters, while a water truck is also present in the area.
