Employees of the Public Housing Enterprise (NPB) have announced that they will gather outside the Supreme Court in Pristina today at 10:00 to express their dissatisfaction over unpaid wages.

For nearly three months, workers have not received their salaries because the enterprise’s bank account was frozen during enforcement proceedings arising from a legal dispute.
NPB said the financial blockade had made it impossible to pay wages for August and September, leaving employees in a difficult situation as they wait to be paid for the work they have done.
The enterprise stressed that it would continue to pursue every legal and institutional avenue available to protect the public interest and state property, without undermining the independence of the judiciary.
The current crisis has highlighted the negative effects the freezing of the enterprise’s account is having on employees, who are seeking a concrete solution to receive their outstanding wages.
