Within a single day, customs inspections at two terminals led to the discovery of 12 illegal migrants from Egypt and Sudan.

The first case was recorded at the Tetovo customs terminal, where customs officers suspected that migrants were inside a truck and requested the intervention of the Ministry of Interior.
The inspection confirmed the presence of five migrants. Two hours later, at the Skopje 3 terminal, authorities found seven more people.
All 12 migrants were handed over to the Ministry of Interior. Meanwhile, Frontex reported that illegal migration along the Western Balkan route had decreased by 42 percent.
