PDK MP Enver Hoxhaj said that the daily protests in support of the Kosovo Liberation Army have sparked a new awareness and a renewed sense of patriotism in Kosovo’s society.

According to him, the broad participation of citizens, with young and old people among the protesters, demonstrates society’s solidarity and strong connection with Kosovo’s history.
Hoxhaj said that citizens’ daily participation in the protests is bringing about a new awareness, which is subsequently turning into greater self-confidence.
He expressed his belief that Kosovo can overcome this period and emerge from it as a stronger society, while emphasizing his conviction that the battle can also be won on appeal.
The PDK MP stressed that the aim should not be only victory on appeal, but also the strengthening of society after this battle ends, since situations such as these, he said, create self-confidence.
Hoxhaj said that the younger generation, which did not experience life under occupation and knows that period only through the accounts of previous generations, should regard this civic mobilization as a new testament to patriotism.
He called on citizens to take part in the march on October 1, emphasizing that solidarity, love for the Kosovo Liberation Army and the defense of its dignity must remain unwavering.
According to Hoxhaj, the greater the civic mobilization and solidarity, the stronger the conviction will be that the KLA, as the force that brought freedom, represents society’s most sacred value.
He added that Albanians have gone through many wars and had illustrious leaders and battles throughout history, but only the KLA’s war, in these two thousand years, ended with liberation, the creation of the state of Kosovo and its independence.
Hoxhaj also emphasized that Kosovo was fortunate to have its allies in that war.
