A 25-year-old woman was found dead on Sunday evening in Igoumenitsa, Greece.

Police were alerted by her partner, a 27-year-old man, who said by phone that they had both been attacked. He also reported that the young woman had died.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the 25-year-old’s lifeless body. Initial information indicates that she had wounds on her body, which are suspected to have been caused by a knife.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old was located a short distance away, in an area with dense vegetation. He told police that he, too, had been attacked and struck.
However, during the initial examination, no external wounds or visible signs of physical violence were found on him.
After receiving medical attention, the young man was taken to the police station, where he will be questioned about the circumstances surrounding the 25-year-old woman’s death.
Investigators are trying to establish how the incident occurred, while the full details have yet to be made public.
