The US Joint Task Force for the Western Hemisphere carried out a strike on a boat operating along established drug-trafficking routes in the Caribbean Sea, the military’s Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) said.
According to the command, 4 people it described as “narco-terrorists” were killed.

In a post on X, the command said the strike was carried out under its direction and that intelligence had confirmed the boat was actively involved in drug trafficking.
“On September 19, under the direction of SOUTHCOM, the Joint Task Force for the Western Hemisphere carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a speedboat operating along established drug-trafficking routes in the Caribbean. The operation killed four narco-terrorists,” the command said.
