Jakup Krasniqi’s lawyer has announced that the defense team will challenge, through an appeal, the judgment of the Special Court in The Hague, which she described as disappointing.

According to her, the defense continues to seek Krasniqi’s release, while the judicial process has not yet concluded.
“We will appeal on behalf of Jakup Krasniqi. The result should be Jakup Krasniqi’s release. We are still in the process, and you will hear news from us. As I said, the judgment is disappointing, and we will appeal it,” the lawyer stated.
She said that she had not yet communicated with Krasniqi after the judgment was announced, but added that she would speak with him tomorrow.
