A shooting in Istanbul’s Fatih district has left three people dead and another injured. The area is considered one of the most frequented by tourists in the Turkish metropolis.

Turkish media reports said the shooting followed an argument between the shop owner and a customer. According to preliminary, as yet officially unconfirmed information, the confrontation may have taken place at a currency exchange office.
One person was arrested by police at the scene, Turkey’s state-run Anadolu news agency reported.
Private agency DHA released footage from the scene showing a person being taken on a stretcher to an ambulance.
Investigations are continuing to determine the full circumstances and motive behind the incident.
