The Special Court is expected to announce its final verdict tomorrow in the trial of four former KLA leaders: Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi. The development is being followed with great interest in Kosovo.

On the eve of the verdict, lawyer Tomë Gashi reacted in a social media post, linking the outcome of the case to the standards of justice that, according to him, were applied in the cases of former KLA commanders Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Limaj.
Gashi said that if the Special Court follows the same standard, Thaçi, Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi should be acquitted.
“The standard of justice! If the Special Court respects the standards of justice as in the Haradinaj and Limaj case, then tomorrow the court will acquit Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi,” Gashi wrote.
