He announced that he would spend the night in the square awaiting the verdict for Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.
Referring to his family’s experience, Haziri wrote that, as Xhavit Haziri’s son, he knows the experience of waiting well, having grown up with it and, together with his family, continuing to wait to this day.
According to him, this night should not be experienced separately, but together, as citizens united by the KLA’s just war.
Haziri called on citizens to stay together throughout the night and await the dawn in the square, in the hope that the freedom fighters will be released.
He said the September 16 decision concerns not only the fate of the four former KLA leaders being held in The Hague, but also the history of the Kosovo Liberation Army and Kosovo itself.
Citizens have been invited to join the gathering from 21:00 in Skanderbeg Square. Haziri called for the vigil to be peaceful, civic and characterized by hope.
In his message, he suggested that some people bring blankets, others a guitar and others hot tea, while everyone should come with open hearts and faith in justice. According to him, tonight it is enough for citizens to be present and wait together.
In conclusion, Haziri emphasized that the KLA belonged to the people and that the people belong to the KLA.
The gathering is scheduled for September 15 at 21:00 in Skanderbeg Square in Pristina.
