The two people driving the vehicles involved in the head-on collision were urgently taken to Lushnjë Hospital with serious bodily injuries.
According to the account of the female driver of a “Fiat,” a “Benz” was overtaking in the lane heading toward Lushnjë. After making side contact with the “Fiat,” the “Benz” collided head-on with a “Ford,” which veered off the road and fell into the roadside ditch.
Lushnjë police forces immediately went to the scene of the accident and temporarily suspended vehicle traffic. The investigative team is continuing its work to fully clarify the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
