Acting Finance Minister Hekuran Murati stressed that state institutions could be formed quickly, recalling that during the previous term, the Assembly and the Government were established within a very short period.

He added that the main obstacle emerged later during the election of the president because opposition lawmakers had halted the process, and as a result, the country went to early elections.
Murati expressed confidence that opposition MPs would have a change of mindset this time, noting that the choice for head of state was already clear.
“During the previous term, we managed to form the institutions, namely the Assembly and the Government, in record time. But we later saw that the issue of the president became a problem, as opposition representatives blocked the process and forced the country into elections,” he said.
“I hope there will be some reflection. We have our presidential candidate ready, so the solution is very close, but I hope opposition MPs will demonstrate a change,” the acting minister concluded.
