Nenad Rashiq, the acting minister for Communities and Returns, has reacted for the first time to statements by LDK deputy Arben Gashi, who accused him of using language against Kosovo and Albanians in meetings with international representatives.

Gashi said he was part of about 50 meetings, including in Berlin with the European Union and the Council of Europe, where, according to him, Rashiq expressed himself in such a manner.
Rashiq categorically rejected these claims, calling them untrue.
“Again I emphasize, what Mr. Gashi is saying is absolutely untrue. I don’t know humanly how he can imagine it and I don’t know what the motive of the person is to make such a banal lie,” Rashiq stated.
He expressed uncertainty about the reason that prompted Gashi to mention his name, while asking to clarify who could be a witness to these claims.
“I am very interested who exactly is the witness. I tell you again, such a situation has never happened, but why he mentioned my name, I don’t know,” Rashiq said.
